Groups & Ministries

A parish is not a building but a people. Every group here is a door in — and every one of them is short of hands.

Liturgical ministries

Those who serve at the altar and in the sanctuary.

Parish Choir

Leads the singing at Sunday Mass and at weddings, funerals and the great feasts.

Open to: Anyone willing to come to practice

Lectors

Proclaim the Word of God at Mass, and are formed to do it well.

Open to: Confirmed parishioners who read clearly and are willing to be trained

Altar Servers

Boys and girls who serve at the altar at every Mass.

Meets: PLACEHOLDER — Saturdays, 10:00 am

Open to: Children who have received First Holy Communion

Eucharistic Ministers

Assist in distributing Holy Communion, and bring it to the sick at home.

Associations & movements

Lifelong companions in faith, each with its own charism.

Catholic Women Association (CWA)

Women of the parish following the example of St. Monica, in prayer and in charity to families in need.

Meets: PLACEHOLDER — every second Sunday after the 9:30 Mass

Open to: Married and mature women of the parish

Catholic Men Association (CMA)

Men of the parish supporting one another as husbands, fathers and Christians.

Youth & children

For the young Church, now and not later.

St. Paul’s Youth (SPY)

The young Church of Kibingoti — prayer, service, sport and friendship.

Open to: Ages 15–30

Pontifical Missionary Children (PMC)

Sunday school for the youngest members of the parish.

Meets: PLACEHOLDER — Sundays during the 9:30 Mass

Open to: Children aged 4–13

Family life

Supporting marriages and homes.

Family Life Ministry

Marriage preparation, marriage enrichment and support for families under strain.

Charity & social justice

Faith that does something about it.

Catholic Justice and Peace Commission (CJPC)

Civic education, peacebuilding and speaking for those without a voice.

Devotional groups

Prayer held in common.

Legion of Mary

Prayer under the patronage of Our Lady, and visits to the sick and the lonely.

Sacred Heart Devotion

Devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, with First Friday Mass and adoration.

Welfare & development

Carrying one another’s burdens.

Parish Self-Help Group

A savings and welfare group: members save together and borrow at fair terms.
